Quote RE: Ferrari F1 scandal

“I see that Ferrari International Assistance decided not to punish Ferrari any further after the debacle in Germany. Disgusting.”

Burn a Koran? Only in America!

The title pretty much sums it up. As an Athiest, I’m wary of being too critical of religion in case I’m labelled as a ‘religion basher’, but this surely is ridiculous.

There is already a strong clash of ideology between the Muslim world and the West, but does this Evangelical Church really have to fan the flames by sticking two fingers up to all followers of Islam; which includes millions of America’s own citizens?

Right now, American soldiers and civillians in predominantly Muslim countries must be fearing the worst, especially if the burning goes ahead.

A word of advice, you don’t combat religious extremism with religious extremism!

Religion continues to be, as it has been for thousands of years, the most dangerous weapon of terror and mass destruction known to man.

New design for davidthomasgreen.com

I’ve only just started blogging again due to the fact that I’ve spent the last six weeks working on the new design for the site, which is a WordPress theme that I’ve built entirely from scratch, and that I may consider releasing publicly.

I wanted a clean design with better typography, and the design along with the way that the content is labelled has been heavily influenced by Tumblr and it’s focus on highlighting different types of text and multimedia.

I’ll be posting a lot more regularly and posting a more images and videos as well as more regular journal entries, Film & TV news and reviews, and more.

There are still a handful of small tweaks and additions that I’ll be making this weekend, but for the most part the site is the finished article.

What do you think of the new design? What do you like/dislike? Let me know in the comments, thanks!

Capello, fortune favours the bold

I have to admit, I am a very nervous England supporter this evening. Since Capello has taken over the team, I’ve found myself no longer disenfranchised with the national side…until the World Cup began.
