Just got word via the good folks over at Galactica Sitrep that the box art is online for the eagerly awaited DVD and Blu-Ray releases of the direct-to-disc Battlestar Galactica movie ‘The Plan’ due to hit the stores around October/November time in the US/UK. Check the box art out after the cut, and bear in mind there are spoilers for those who haven’t made it to the end of Season 3, and obviously for those who haven’t watched the show at all…yet.

‘The Plan’ is an interesting continuation of the Battlestar Galactica universe, and now that the series is over (*wipes tears from eyes*) this feature, from the pen of series producer Jane Espensen (with support from BSG Executive Producers Ron.D.Moore & David Eick) and directed by Edward James Olmos a.k.a Admiral Adama, will uncover what the Cylon plan we were told about at the start of so many episodes actually was.
We’ll find out about how they planned the colonial holocaust, how they executed it and see what they did during the aftermath as they pursued the fleet through space; as well as exactly what happened to the ‘Final Five’ to ensure that they survived. For those of you who haven’t already seen it, here is the official trailer for ‘The Plan’. Enjoy.
